CheckPath Anatomic Pathology

A glass-slide/image-based assessment program that presents both neoplastic and non-neoplastic surgical cases.

  • 5 cases with clinical histories are sent to the laboratory each quarter for a total of 20 cases (20 CME) per year
  • Participants receive peer-reviewed interpretations for each case. Demographically-based laboratory and individual participant reports with peer to peer comparisons are provided. Up to 20 CME of continuing professional education credit are offered each year
  • Anatomic Pathology CheckPath meets CAP laboratory accreditation requirements (CAP checklist ANP.0200)
  • Pathology residents can participate at no additional fee

The ASCP is accredited by the ACCME to provide CME for physicians. The ASCP designates these educational activities for a maximum of the indicated number of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activities.

These activities meet the American Board of Pathology’s Maintenance of Certification (MOC) requirements for Part II (CME and SAMs) Lifelong Learning and Part IV (peer to peer comparisons). For MOC brochure, click here.
