Lung Cancer

Pathologists and laboratory professionals are key members of the multidisciplinary team involved in the diagnosis, testing, and management of patients with lung cancer, including non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). While the evolution of targeted therapies has significantly improved outcomes and quality of life in patients with NSCLC, it can be difficult to keep up with recent advances in this field. ASCP is committed to developing education to help you increase your awareness of current and emerging treatment options for patients with NSCLC, develop and apply effective testing algorithms for patients with NSCLC, and guide medical oncologists and other multidisciplinary colleagues on their use to ensure appropriate treatment selection.
