Dr. Philip and Sandra Barney Resident Volunteer Service Award

The Dr. Philip and Sandra Barney Resident Volunteer Service Award recognizes an ASCP resident member with outstanding ASCP volunteer experience. This award began in 2023 through the generous donation of ASCP Past President Dr. Philip Barney and Sandra Barney to the ASCP Foundation.

The nominee should be an ASCP resident member who has made significant contributions through volunteer service to the field of pathology and ASCP. Self-nomination is permitted.

To celebrate the honoree’s distinguished achievements, ASCP will:

Award $500 to the recipient
Highlight the honoree’s accomplishments on the ASCP website and in an ASCP publication or newsletter
