ASCP Welcomes 2023-2024 President, Board of Directors, Commission and Council Chairs

Robert A. Goulart, MD, MASCP, was installed as 2023-2024 President of ASCP during the Society’s Annual Meeting held in October in Long Beach, CA. Dr. Goulart is the Associate Chief of Anatomic Pathology and the Director of Quality and Patient Safety at the University of Massachusetts Memorial Health and a Professor of Pathology in the Department of Pathology at the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School in Worcester, MA. Serving as ASCP 2023-2024 President-Elect is Gregory N. Sossaman, MD, MASCP, System Chair of Clinical Pathology and Service Line Leader, in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Ochsner Health, in New Orleans, LA.

Serving as ASCP 2023-2024 Vice President is Gregory G. Davis, MD, FASCP, Chief Coroner/Medical Examiner for Jefferson County, Alabama and Professor and Director of the Forensic Division of the Department of Pathology at the University of Alabama Birmingham.
