Research Showed Differences In Exosomal mRNA Expression Between Patients With MPO-Specific ANCA-Associated Vasculitis And Healthy Controls

Rare Disease Advisor (9/27, Garlapow) reported that research “showed significant differences in exosomal mRNA expression between patients with myeloperoxidase (MPO)-specific antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (ANCA)-associated vasculitis...and healthy controls, shedding light on potential mechanisms driving disease pathogenesis.” Investigators found that “DEPDC1B and TPST1 were markedly upregulated in patients with MPO-AAV, while NSUN4 and AK4 were significantly downregulated.” The findings were published in Clinical and Experimental Medicine.
