Supported by the ASCP Foundation
The Dr. Alvin Ring Empowerment Scholarship for Laboratory Professionals, established through ASCP, aims to provide financial aid to those pursuing higher education in the medical laboratory sciences.
Scholarship aid may be used toward certification fees, direct academic tuition, or needs-based expenses to support the student's academic career. The number of scholarships available will vary based on available funding; however, it is estimated that 8-10 scholarships will be awarded for the 2025-2026 application cycle.
This scholarship is looking for students from medically-underserved and/or rural areas, seeking to serve medically-underserved communities with their education. Additionally, candidates should be in good academic standing and/or show commitment to staying in the laboratory profession, as vouched for by academic or professional reference letters.
All applicants must be current United States citizens.
Please note that Masters and Doctoral program applicants are not eligible for this opportunity.
