Whooping Cough Cases Have Reached Record Levels, CDC Data Show

The Hill (10/12, Ventura) reported, “Whooping cough cases have increased to record levels since 2014, with four times as many cases compared to last year, data [PDF] from the CDC showed.” There have been over “16,000 cases this year alone and two confirmed deaths, statistics revealed.” Last year, “more than 3,700 cases were registered nationwide.”
