UK Secures Contract For 5M Doses Of Human H5 Influenza Vaccine

Reuters (12/3, Kalia) reports, “Britain’s Health Security Agency (UKHSA) said on Tuesday that it has secured a contract for over five million doses of the human H5 influenza vaccine as part of preparations for a potential influenza pandemic.” The vaccine “will be produced by the UK healthcare company CSL Seqirus UK Ltd.” It “is intended for use only if the virus begins to spread among humans.”
