Nearly One In Six US Children Received At Least One Vaccine Dose Outside Recommended Age Guidelines During Recent 10-Year Period, Study Finds

Healio (1/10, Kellner) reported, “Nearly one in six U.S. children received at least one vaccine dose outside the recommended age guidelines during a recent 10-year period, according to study findings.” Researchers found that “children who had three or more providers were 50% more likely to have invalid doses compared with children with one provider...and children who moved between states were also more likely to have invalid doses than those who did not.” The findings were published in Pediatrics.
