ASCP’s
Choosing Wisely Champions program is seeking to recognize successful laboratory-related initiatives by pathologists, laboratory professionals, individual clinicians, and clinical teams for their commitment to the ABIM Foundation’s
Choosing Wisely Campaign.
The deadline to apply is April 30. The ASCP will select three Champions to present at the ASCP 2022 Annual Meeting, Sept. 7-9, in Chicago, IL.
Since ASCP joined the
Choosing Wisely campaign in 2013, members have been advancing its ideals intended to encourage clinicians and patients to question which tests are medically necessary. Effective test utilization reduces test overuse and improves the nation’s healthcare system.
