ASCP, AMA Urge Support for Medicare PFS Budget Neutrality Legislation

November 02, 2023

On Oct. 27, ASCP, the American Medical Association (AMA), and other medical societies wrote congressional leaders to provide support for legislation to reform the budget neutrality policies applied to the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule (PFS). The legislation is being developed by Reps. Greg Murphy, Brad Wenstrup, Michael Burgess, and House Ways and Means Committee Chair Jason Smith.
