Tune in to ASCP’s ‘Grow Your Own Laboratory Team’ Webinar: Thinking Outside the Lab!

On Feb. 12, ASCP will host the second in a three-part webinar series on how to "grow your own” team of medical laboratory professionals. This webinar will discuss the significant impact that thinking outside the box can have on growing your own laboratory workforce to address the workforce shortage.

Our speakers will look at how engaging with high school STEM students, developing a phlebotomy school specifically for a health system, and implementing various outreach strategies has helped decrease turnover and open positions in the laboratory.

Speakers include Terri A. McElhattan, MHA, MT, PBT(ASCP), CPI (ACA), Program Director/Instructor at the Geisinger School of Phlebotomy, and John Baci, MBA, C-PM, Executive Director of Pathology at Boston Children’s Hospital (Harvard Medical School). The webinar is from 3-4 PM EST,  Register here.
