ASCP 2024 Lab Week Photo and Video Contest Garnered a Record Number of Entries!

The ASCP 2024 Lab Week Photo and Video Contest, with the theme, "The Lab is Everything," received a record number of 117 photo and video submissions last week.

The IU Health Lab won the video contest, and the Clinical Pathology Laboratory, Colorado State University Veterinary Health System won the photo contest. Check out all of the submissions as well as the Top Ten entries here.

ASCP appreciates the enthusiasm and creativity all the participants brought to the contest.

Additionally, the Laboratory Day of Service was introduced during Lab Week. ASCP staff kicked off A Day of Service by making 12 fleece blankets that were delivered to cancer patients at Northwestern Memorial Medical Center, in Chicago.

“We thank everyone who participated in this inaugural event and hope to see it grow in future years,” says Natalie Sherry, ASCP Senior Director of Membership. “The Day of Service is the embodiment of the goodness that is at the heart of every laboratory. Ambassadors pay it forward by sharing their passion for this field with their communities. It’s amazing to see Ambassadors spring into action on this day and on so many others throughout the year.”
